Scholarship and Grant Information
Several committees in the Presbytery of the Western Reserve offer scholarships and grants for a variety of purposes. Read more below to learn about the scholarship and grant opportunities that might be available for you!
Committee on Leadership
The Committee on Leadership offers scholarships for individuals, Lay Leaders, Christian Educators, and Clergy to attend experiences that will help you discern and develop your leadership skills in your congregation and within the Presbytery of the Western Reserve. All applications will be prayerfully considered by each committee. The application is always available to complete, but the applications will only be considered twice a year, with the deadlines for consideration being March 15th, and October 15th. Committee on Outreach
The Committee on Outreach offers grants to organizations every year to promote and support Presbytery and congregational engagement in local, national, and global outreach and social justice ministries.

Committee on Vitality
The Committee on Vitality provides grants and support for congregations in the Presbytery of the Western Reserve for congregational revitalization as well as new building projects. Contact the committee for more information about these funding opportunities.
Vitality Committee New Initiative Grants Applications due on April 30, 2019 and August 31, 2019. These grants are for Congregational Partnership Projects Focused on Spiritual Formation and/or Evangelism. The grant application can be found here.
Self-Development of People (SDOP)
The Self Development of People Committee enters into partnerships with community groups of low-income people that want to change their lives and communities.
