Medina Presbyterian Church Packs 20,000 Meals
Medina Presbyterian Church conducted its fourth annual meal-packing event as the prelude to its summer congregational cookout. The event attracted its largest group of volunteers yet, and included a handful of members' friends from the community, and even one Muslim couple who were interested in experiencing the event as a possible activity for their mosque.
Medina Prez held a brief worship service, then packed 20,000 meals in cooperation with the Christian organization Rise Against Hunger. Members said the inter-generational is one of the most enjoyable service projects of the year.
